
A resident of Baton Rougefor 59 years, he passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Rector, Ark., he grew up in Kenner. Family and friends are invited for visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Ave., on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 11 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Frances June Cristina Mince, and loving father of Darrel Mince and Sharon Ford of Baton Rouge, and Patty Mince of Elbert, Colo. He will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren, Jeremy Ford of Houston, Kevin and Collin Ford of Baton Rouge, Ave Mince-Didier of San Francisco, Frederick Mince of New Orleans, and Cristina Van Hoove of Las Vegas. He is also survived by three sisters, Ella Cunningham of Springfield, and Mary Frabbiele and Ruth Abdo, both of Las Vegas; godchild, Charlotte Bourgeois; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Iva Pedigo, Jeannie Mae Garcia, and Clint, Walter, Albert, Donald and Charles Mince. He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He was a graduate ofKennerHigh Schooland attended LSU. He was a successful business owner, kind and generous friend, and a proud supporter of LSU athletics. The family expresses sincere appreciation to Dr. Leo Blaize, Dr. Carl Luikart, Baton Rouge Hospice and the priests of St. Aloysius Parish for their concern and loving care. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ford, Kevin Ford, Collin Ford, Frederick Mince, Joe LeBlanc, Mike Darnall, Andrew Martin and Laus Abdo. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Ford, Roger Culotta, J.D.
