Henry Carl Norton

Henry Carl Norton, a resident of the City of Central, LA, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2021. He was born in Galvez, Louisiana on February 8, 1925. He was a beloved Husband, Daddy, Paw Paw and Uncle. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a tail gunner on the Naval Carrier USS Hornet. He retired from Gulf States Utilities as a lineman. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Hailey and son in law Johnny Hailey, Jr.; granddaughters Danielle Hand, Erica Machen (Jonathan), Cristina Khemmanyvong, Courtney Hailey, Jennifer Bickham (Thomas), Jessica Lee (Jared), Shelby Everett (Justin), and Madison Hailey; great grandchildren Lexi, Lucy, Benjamin, Leyton, Audrey, Savannah, Charlotte, Aaden, Brady, Antoinette, Amelia, Brennan, Ella Kate, Jayce, Krissie and Sarah. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Margie West Norton and his daughter Renee Amaireh; brothers Hanson, Otto and TD and sisters Ottie, Hazel, Violet, and Margie. Visitation at Faithful United Methodist Church in St. Amant, Thursday, December 23, 2021, 9:00-11:00, service at 11:00 conducted by Rev. John Krause and Rev. Heather Sullivan.
