A retired truck driver and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Tuesday, March 10, 2009. He was 84 and a native of Sharon, Miss. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, March 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and in the chapel on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Louis Sullivan. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Mary R. Cleveland; daughter, Suzanne C. Naquin and husband Olin; son, Mickey D. Cleveland Sr. and wife Dianne; three sisters, Nettie Carver, Effie Brocato and Dorothy Johnson; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Mayo Walker Cleveland; daughter, Sandra Cleveland; son, Henry Neal Cleveland; and brother, Bill Cleveland. He was a member of Local 198 and Teamsters.
