Herman Poirier, Jr., native and resident of Baton Rouge, La. passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 71. We celebrate the Beauty and Love of Herman, innocent, sincere, and wonderful. He is now beyond the toil and pain of this world and lives now in eternal peace and love. Herman is survived by his sister, Janice McMichael; brother-in-law, Wayne McMichael; niece, Kimberly Broussard; nephew, Blake Broussard; close friend, Brian Audet; and nephew, Jase Broussard. He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Poirier, Sr. and mother, Verba Poirier; and many aunts and uncles. The family would like to thank the nurse’s at Heritage Manor Nursing Home and St. Joseph’s Carpenter House for their dedication and care for Herman. A graveside service will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:30am conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis.
