

Herman Joseph Tullier, Sr. was born June 17, 1918 on Sardine Point in Plaquemines Parish and died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at LATAC Center in Denham Springs. He was 93, a US Army veteran and member of Boilmakers Union 582. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel Monday, December 26, 2011, conducted by Deacon Donald Ard of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Nell Tullier of Plaquemine; a daughter, Barbara Tullier of Nashville, TN; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Mary Tullier of Oil City, Jim and Mary Tullier of Baker and Tim and Dana Tullier of Baker; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amy Bordelon and Duclede “Red” Tullier; wife, Bertha Mae Tullier; brothers, Loyce and Linzie Tullier; sisters, Doris “Teet” Kennedy, Olive “Dubby” Comeaux, Leo Dee “Tot” Tribeaux, Mary Lee “Fatty” Bernard and Clara Mae “Chicken" Pinipento. Pallbearers will be David Fontana, Jeff Fontana, Jimmy Tullier, Arthur Tullier, Tim Brewer and Tommy Cockerham. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
