Horace was truly devoted husband, father and grandfather. You will  be missed my cousin and brother in Christ Jesus.  

Uncle Horace had a divine curiosity about people and life.  He surprised and expanded our minds and our hearts in multiple ways, but one of my favorite moments happened when he would randomly recited poetry at family gatherings.  When we needed help, he tutored us in Math and English in grammar school and seized every opportunity to make us laugh.  

His sage awareness of the world and of the people in it are characteristics I deeply admire. Most importantly, beneath his wisdom and intelligence was the heart of a kind and gentle soul.  He lives on in all of us, and everyone whose paths we cross.

I have many good memories of working and talking with Horace during my formative years at Exxon.  He was one  person you enjoyed stopping to talk with in the halls or even better at his office.  He had so much insight into people and ways of doing things that impressed me.  I truly enjoyed listening to his stories.  He was such a kind and considerate man.  I am sorry to hear the news of his passing and our prayers will include his family.

To Jennie and family.  So sorry to hear of Horace’s passing.  Know that we are praying for all of you and your loss.  Horace was a wonderful person who would share his talents with many people.  He was a dedicated family man to not only his wife, children, parents, sister but also to his extended uncles, aunts and their families.  May he Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Horace’s passing. We worked together for most of thirty years. Horace and I worked together as Operators and then in Supervision. He was a great guy and very easy to work with. 

I worked with Horace at Exxon. We got to talk about life in the afternoon.  I was always impressed at how smart and insightful he was and how happy and joyful he seemed to be. He was proud of his children and the love of hie life, his wife. 
He was a good man and my friend. 

Horace was a man of extraordinary common sence and wisdom.  His sage advice about materials management remain with me.  "The problem with our material storage is that we have too much material storage".    I remember him fondly.

When I was working as a contractor at Exxon,  Horace was my Exxon Supervisor in the office complex.  The day I quit i was sitting at Horace's desk.   He wanted to give me a party before I left but my ride was leaving.   I have been working for over 40 years and by far Horace was the best supervisor I have ever worked for.   While working at LSU he I would see him sometimes in the mornings picking up one of his grandchildren.  I know a good man has left a loving legacy to his family and will be missed.  God speed to you Horace.  Gods peace to the Esnault family.
