Dan was there right away for me after my father died at my age 17. Encouraging, loving, close friend of my father( he loved Dan), God’s emissary to my family, Dan always sought me out to offer help. He sent notes to me and and gave that broad smile anytime we talked. Dan and my dad are rejoicing in heaven as a longtime friendship has been rekindled forever. God bless Dan and what he did to help others in Jesus’s name.

I knew and respected Dan from high school, business and Rotary. He was
a most honorable and talented gentleman. May fond memories sustain the family during these difficult times. RIP, Dan.

Never have we ever had a closer or dearer friend than Dan. Surely God has much awaiting his amazing talents in Heavenly activities. Dan and Marian were such close friends to us as far back as 70 years in the vets hutments at LSU in our undergraduate days through more recent days in Bible study together where he was our group's skilled and dedicated teacher. In later years we've been separated by our move to be closer to our children in our older ages, and Dan to his assisted living facility where he reported having much happiness, and many great friends -- both of which were par for the course for his happy, outgoing, and deeply Christian personality. It won't be too long before we're together again, and perhaps he can be lining us up some tee times on the Universe's most beautiful course.
