Dear Eloise and family,
I have many wonderful memories of dancing to your cueing. I thank you for so much graciousness you and Huey showed to me and my present husband. He doesn't round dance, but my late husband Floyd Newsome and I danced many times to Huey.
We have not been dancing now for 6 years but wonderful people are not forgotten. I am not physically able to dance but I still follow Tammany Twirlers newsletters and certain people. There is so much love and caring there it's impossible to put down. I am happy you and Huey are such a big part of those lovely memories.
May God bless you, Huey and your family . Juanita Glazier

Thanks, Huey, for patiently teaching me (and so many others) the waltz, foxtrot and other dance steps in your Thursday morning dance classes for so many years. We talked about many things during the mid dance breaks and an occasional lunch and you were always ready to explain a step or lend an ear and perspective on other things. We sure miss you and may God rest your soul, Huey, in everlasting peace.

We were saddened by the news of Huey who was our beloved Round dancing teacher for over 20 years. He was such a enthusiastic and devoted teacher and I learned a lot from him. He and Eloise came to class even when they were not feeling very well. He will be missed and alway be in our heart.

Huey was one of the most talented men I have ever known. I was good friends and a roommate with his son, Lynn. Condolences, love and prayers for his wife, Eloise, and son, Patrick. Huey will be missed by all.....
