Dear Gail and family - We are so very sorry for your loss. We only just found out about Hugh's passing. We are sad we missed the services for him. We always enjoyed speaking with him, and Jim learned a lot from him. We recall so many good times together at your home for the rosary. We rejoiced with you both when you became grandparents. Hugh had a great smile and laugh and he will be missed around the parish. We look forward though to a joyful reunion one day with him and our loved ones in heaven.
God bless You

We loved working with Hugh at Earl K. Long Hospital. He was a great pharmacist with a great attitude and wonderful sense of humor. I still tell the story of my first day on the job when Hugh made me laugh with a hilariously un-politically correct joke. He didn't know me at all, but somehow knew I would be able to take myself lightly and enjoy the joke. In fact, I still tell that story because it still amuses me.
Hugh is a blessed Christian soul who blessed many people. While I am sad for all who will love and miss him now, I know that our Redeemer lives and that Hugh is seeing Him face to face. I will offer prayers for you all.

Dear Gail,

So sorry to hear of Hugh’s passing. It’s been quite some time since we have been in contact. However, the wonderful and fun memories we have of our younger days make time seem shorter!

I worked with Mr. Hugh through his drug rep days and then when he became EKL family. He was happy to have a beard😊. He was a wonderful and kind gentleman.

Please accept my sympathy on Hugh's passing. He was a decent man with a loving heart and gentle soul and the world was a better place when he was in it. Gail, I pray that God sends you peace and contentment.
