A resident of Baton Rouge for 47 years, Irma Claire died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007. She was 86 and a native of Bogalusa. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Oct. 8, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mike Schatzle. Irma is survived by two daughters, Janet Anderson and Alice Franklin; a son and daughter-in-law, J. Marc Rowland and Maria Gautreaux Rowland; seven grandchildren, Darren Anderson, Traci Evans, Jenni Franklin, Greg Rowland, Kali Rowland, Sydnie Rowland and Jordan Rowland; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son; her parents, Robert and Hazel Sibley; and a sister, Nell McFadden. She was married for 37 years to Lt. Col. Jesse E. Rowland, now deceased. Burial in East Haven Cemetery, Brookhaven, Miss. Special thanks to the staff of Landmark of Baton Rouge.
