Scott, J. B. "Bunkie"A retired drilling superintendent with Williams' Drilling Company and resident of Baton Rouge, J.B. "Bunkie" Scott died at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015. He was 91 and a native of Hamburg, AR. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East Chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visitation resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 9 am until religious services at 10 am conducted by Rev. Stephen Young and Rev. Carl Rushing. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his sons, Billy Scott and Jerry Scott and wife Sylvia; brother, Eugene "Buddy" Scott; grandchildren, Troy Scott, Kelly Scott and wife Julie, and Clint Scott; and great-grandchildren, Erin, Sydney, and Peyton Scott.  J.B. was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Harvey Scott; parents, Hugh Alex "Buck" Scott and Lilly Bell Barnes Scott; and siblings, Bessie, Clyde, Emma, Annie, Inez, Mary, Jimmy, Robbie and Irene. He was a member and deacon at Stevendale Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to The Carpenter House, 10615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
