
Jacob "Ken" Kenneth Orr Jr., our beloved son, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at the age of 57. A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he is survived by his parents, Jacob Kenneth Sr. and Rosemary Crifasi Orr; a brother, Eldon and his wife, Karen Orr, of Missouri; two sisters, Nancy Orr and husband Jay Levraea, of Austin, Texas, and Diane Orr Jerome; 13 nieces and nephews, Jess, Jakeh, Amoz, Danyahl, Katie, Alaylah, Moriyah and Sammual Orr, of Missouri, Trey Levraea, USAF, serving in Afghanistan, Maeghan Levraea Whiteaker and husband Michael and their children, Finn and Amilya, of McKinney, Texas, Brittany Levraea of Dallas, Texas, Lindsey McKay Daniel and husband Brandon and their son, Nicholas, and daughter, Brooke Ashton; uncles, Brother Eldon Crifasi, S.C., Ben Crifasi, Sam Crifasi and Francis Crifasi; aunts, Jennie Crifasi Fonté, of Houston, and Lorraine Crifasi Drago. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dominic and Mary Montagnino Crifasi and Jess and Mae Dee Reed Orr; and uncles; Peter Crifasi Sr., Jack, Harold, Jimmy and Jesse Orr. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, March 1, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Father Michael Moroney. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Donnie Schittone, Modi Muscagni, Sam Marino, Tony Crifasi, Fred Crifasi and Allen Roussel. He was a graduate of LSU and a member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation and St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church. Special thanks to Dr. Jon Olson and the late Dr. Fraser Landreneau and Canon Hospice for their wonderful assistance. We will miss Ken dearly. In lieu of flowers, Masses in Ken's memory are preferred.
