James Michael “Jim” Boudreaux, age 73,a loving husband, brother and friend passed away after a battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma. Jim was born on December 31, 1947 to Charles Albert and Louise (Aucoin) Boudreaux. He was a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jim was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and past president of Downtown Lions Club. Jim honorably served his country in the United States Army. Along with his wife, he was past owner and bookkeeper of Latils Stationery Company for over 35 years. Gay’s only regret in 52 years of marriage was that she could not give him children, because he would have been a wonderful father. Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gay Garon Boudreaux; brother Bud Boudreaux (Judy); sisters Maggie Boudreaux, Beth Jelks (Rodney) and Claudia Tarter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Louise (Mummy) Boudreaux, brother Jack and sister Kay. The family would like to thank Doctors Leo Blaize, Rebekah Godeaux, Robert Oubre and Daniel Lavie and the 5th floor staff of the OLOL Cancer Center. As per his request there will be no service, however donations in his memory to a veteran or Hospice charity would be appreciated. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
