A resident of Central, he passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. He was 86 and a native of French Camp, Miss. Survived by his daughter, Iva Green and husband Norris; son, Clayton Boyett; grandson, Richard Wayne Dietrich and wife Cathy; granddaughter, Shawn Marie Dietrich; sister, Charlene McCarrah, of Starkville, Miss.; and three great-granddaughters, Alexa Marie Dietrich, Tessa Marie Dietrich and Brandi Marie Dietrich. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Emma Louise Boyett; son, James Wayne Boyett; three sisters; and three brothers. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Tuesday, Feb. 1, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until religious service at noon. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
