A retired music teacher and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, of leukemia in Baton Rouge. He was 75, a native of Branson, Mo., and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Broadmoor United Methodist Church on Monday, Oct. 20, from 5 p.m. until memorial service at 6:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Carroll. Interment in Steele Memorial Cemetery, Hartville, Mo. He is survived by his sister, Judith C. Zollinger; brother-in-law, William D. Zollinger; nieces, Ashley Z. Prokasy and husband Sean, and Kendall Z. Duplantis and husband Mike; nephews, Dr. William D. Zollinger Jr. and wife Michelle, and Jeremy S. Zollinger and wife Karen; three grandnieces, Morgan Duplantis, Madalynn Duplantis and Sophia Zollinger; and six grandnephews, Daniel Zollinger, Benjamin Zollinger, Walter Zollinger, Grant Prokasy, Collin Prokasy and Antonio Zollinger. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Farris Coday and Berniece Hunter Coday.
