James E.Ducote, a resident of Cottonport and Baton Rouge, passed away in his sleep on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the age of 94.He was born November 21, 1922 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. He loved his family and friends and will truly be missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Lewis Ducote, mother Belle D. Ducote and his loving wife Mary Gauthier Ducote.
He is survived by his daughter and caregiver, Paulette and husband Louie Brown, son Dennis Ducote and wife Becky, daughter Cathy Clifford and husband Bill, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28,2017 from 6:00 pm-9:00pm.Visitation on Friday, September 29,2017 from 11:00am -12:00pm Funeral services at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
