
A retired manager with the New Orleans Public Service Commission, he died at 6:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at his home in Baton Rouge. He was 66 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. until a Masonic service at 10 a.m. Visitation will continue until religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by Deacon Phil BeJeaux. Entombment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Nancy Haughton Grady; two daughters, Lesley Burke and her husband, Brian, of Mandeville, and Sandy Grady, of Charlotte, N.C.; two stepsons, Dr. Don Davis and his wife, Amanda, of Gainesville, Fla., and Michael Davis and his wife, Allison, of Katy, Texas; and two grandchildren, Samantha Ann Burke and Matthew Parker Davis. Preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Estelle Cooper Grady; and his father, James Edward Grady. Pallbearers will be Michael Davis, Dr. Don Davis, Tom Loggins, Wade Haughton, Frank Dedman and Joe Richard. He was a member and past master of St. James Lodge No. 47, F&AM, venerable master of Baton Rouge Valley Scottish Rite, national officer of Hi-12 and served on several Louisiana Grand Lodge committees.
