James Richard Laborde

James "Jimmy" Richard LaBorde passed away peacefully at the age of 56 on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, La. He was born in New Orleans, La., grew up in Central, La., and was a resident of Watson, La. He is survived by his wife, Toni M. LaBorde; three sons, Trey, Cody, and Tanner LaBorde; his stepdaughter Allison Sens; his mother Deanna Mayeux and her husband Glynn; his father Elliott LaBorde and his wife Cheryl; sister Brenda Dozier and her husband Wayne, his brother David LaBorde; niece Melissa Steele and her husband Chris Steele, niece Amanda Dozier, nephew Corey LaBorde, great nephews Christopher, Matthew, and Nathan Steele; and great-niece Emily Steele. Jimmy was preceded in death by his infant daughter Brittany Michelle LaBorde. Jimmy was a wonderful husband, father, and son. He loved to be outdoors riding four wheelers and camping. He also enjoyed grilling and entertaining guests. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 9 a.m. until Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, La for their loving care and concern.
