James Alvin Lesage

Mr. James Alvin “Jimmy” LeSage, lifelong resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away January 18, 2022. He was born on July 8, 1937 to parents Emile Jr. and Edna Mae Quinn LeSage. Mr. Jimmy was a 1955 graduate of Central High, a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, and a life member of Gonzales Boat Club. He retired from Exxon ERDL on July,1, 1997. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sybil Langlois LeSage; children, Rodney LeSage (Anna), Lori Gautreaux (Mel), Liz Stephens (Larry), Randy LeSage (Lyn); grandchildren, Brandon LeSage (Sara), Rachel’ Pinson, Austin Stephens (Brittany), Brody “BJ” Stephens (Katie), Cameron Stephens and Nick LeSage (Jordan); ten great grandchildren and special friend and brother-in-law, Pete Langlois. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Hilda Mae Wood and grandchildren, Casey LeSage and Courtney LeSage. Pallbearers will be his six grandchildren. Father Mike Moroney will be officiating a private service and burial at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
