
A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, Ron passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at his residence. He was 39, a service technician with BellSouth and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at First United Methodist Church on Monday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Chris Andrews. Survived by his wife, Michelle Cutrer Vannoy; son, Tanner Stevens Vannoy; parents, Charlotte Broussard Schittone and John Schittone Jr., Baton Rouge, and Steve and Carrie Mabile Vannoy, Pierre Part; two sisters, Denise Perera and Stacey Sylvester, both of Pierre Part; two brothers, John Schittone III and Matthew Schittone; and grandparents, John and Fannie Schittone and Ann Mabile. Preceded in death by his father, Stevens Ronald Vannoy; and grandparents, Ralph and Polly Vannoy and Ivy and Lizzie Broussard. Pallbearers will be John Schittone III, Matthew Schittone, Donnie Perera, Michael Sylvester, Mark Meadors, Jimbo Pugh, Kyle Knight and Warren Parham. Affectionately known as Captain Ron, his favorite pastime was fishing with family and friends.
