A retired employee with the Office of Motor Vehicles, she passed away at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 55 and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, July 11, from 8 a.m. until memorial service at 10 a.m. Survived by her mother, Lena Moran; twin sister, Joan and husband Mike Crain; sister, Rose Mary and husband Hyman Saltz; niece, Melissa and husband Tim Hasenkampf; nephew, Anthony Miller; two great-nephews, Joshua Hasenkampf and Hayes Miller; and her very special poodle puppy, Jacque René. Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Moran; and very special aunt, Rosa Lee Campesi. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, Masses can be said or donations can be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge.
