Janell B. McCoy, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 72. She enjoyed traveling so much that it took her all around the world. Many times she would travel overseas to visit her husband who was working. Janell is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Stanley “Doc” McCoy; son, Matt McCoy and wife, Frances; great-grandchildren, Casey McCoy, Elaina Noland, and Kinzley McCoy; father, R. L. Baldridge; sister, Ione B. Hernandez and husband, David of Houston; and aunt, Castell Harrell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Baldridge; brother, Jim Baldridge; daughter, Marilynn “Bliss” Broyles; grandson, Brett McCoy; and grandparents, Jessie James and Myrtie Kennedy. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 10 a.m. until Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
