Janelle R. Womack

Janelle Reine Womack, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 86. She retired from the state as an account supervisor with the Department of Motor Vehicles. Janelle served as the secretary and treasurer of the Exxon Annuity Club for several years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Janelle is survived by her two daughters, Judy Holmes and Randie Womack DeJohn; four grandchildren, Landon Holmes and wife Christie, Greg Holmes and wife Laurie, Christopher DeJohn and Bradley DeJohn and wife Kristen; four great grandchildren, Lila Holmes, Bryce Holmes, Emma Holmes, and Tatum DeJohn. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Morris Womack; her parents, Louis Sr. and Estelle Reine; and a brother, Louis Bernie Reine Jr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 5pm until 8 pm and resume on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 10am until service at 12pm.
