Ms. Janice Lea McDonald Crawford, a resident of Denham Springs and native of Holden, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born March 4, 1939, she was a native of Holden, LA.
Ms. Janice was loved by many and she loved many. She was a Christian woman that loved the Lord, a member of Wholly Ground Church and a prayer warrior. She loved her family deeply.
She is survived by her children, Kenny (Karen) Crawford, Katie (Charles) Parker; grandchildren, Brandi O’Neal, Patrick (Amanda) Donohue, Corey (Ginne) Crawford, Jonathan (Tori) Parker, Shawn Parker; great-grandchildren, Mandolyn, Breanna, Peyton Donohue, Brynlee, Nolan, Bradley, Emily, Kenleigh Parker, with their mother, Meghan Parker; sister, Rita Miles and brother, Charles (Shelly) McDonald.
Preceded in death by husband Kenneth Crawford Sr., parents, Homer and Josephine “Josie” McDonald; sister, Shirley McDonald; grandparents, Henry “Babe” and Hermena “Mena” Efferson, Charlie and Allie McDonald.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA., on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 9:00am until service time of 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Brother Joey Beeson and Brother Chuck Lowman are officiating services.
