Jeanne passed away on November 21, 2015 at the age of 88. Born in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom, she came to America in 1946 as a war bride to her husband, George. She was an independent, intelligent, and vibrant woman who worked hard all of her life, and dearly loved her family, friends, and pets. Jeanne was a generous and compassionate person who always put other people's needs before hers and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She has 3 surviving children, Karen Chaisson, Paul David (Nina), and Jeffrey. Also survived by grandchildren, Chaillie, Russ, Lindsey (Eric), Brandon, Jena,&Alex; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Ben, Kate, Cohen, Grant,&Landon; nieces and nephews, Dorothy, Cindy,&Peter; and numerous great-nieces and nephews all over the world. Preceded in death by husband George O. David, Jr; her parents; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and her grandson Brennon. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802) from 9:00 am with a Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
