
Jeanne Anne Cottrell Lacy died at 1:39 p.m.on Friday, March 9, 2007, at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenterat the age of 58. She was a co-owner of Cornerstone Christian Book Store and a retired elementary school music teacher with the East Baton Rouge Parish school system. She was a native of Lafayetteand a resident of Gonzales. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, March 12, from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m.and Tuesday, March 13, from 8 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m., celebrated by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Interment will be inGreenoaksMemorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Sidney John Lacy III; daughter, Kathleen Amelie Lacy Fitzpatrick; son, John Caldwell Lacy; two sisters, Anne Cottrell Flynn and Alice Cottrell Stordal; brother, Harold Osdell Cottrell Jr.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Osdell Cottrell Sr.; and mother, Jeanne Henry Cottrell. She was a graduate of theUniversityofLouisianaat Lafayettewith a degree in music education and a graduate ofLafayetteHigh School. She was in the church choir, songstress for countless weddings, funerals and church services and a private voice and piano teacher and received a master's degree from LSU in vocal performance.
