Jeannette Vaccaro Musacchia passed away peacefully at her home, on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the age of 91. She was born on September, 30, 1930, in Independence, LA and was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She retired from A&P after 28 years of service. Jeannette was sassy and spunky and full of passion with a heart of gold. She loved watching her husband, children and grandchildren participate in their extracurricular activities. She enjoyed gardening, music, dancing and playing the slots with her husband, Sal. One of her favorite activities was hosting family suppers at her house on Wednesday nights. She will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure to know and love her. Jeannette is survived by her children, Ricky Musacchia (Karen) and Beverly MacIntosh (John); grandchildren, Ashley MacIntosh Melancon (Blaine), Chase Musacchia (Courtney), Chris MacIntosh, Shannon Musacchia Ainsworth (William) and Blaine Musacchia (Logan); 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Vince Vaccaro (Betty); and a host of other loving family members. Jeannette is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Sal; parents, Sam and Josephine Vaccaro; birth mother, Lucille; and sisters, Josephine "Meda" Vaccaro LaDart and Minerva "Noni" Vaccaro Jarreau. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 11:00am until the time of funeral services at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
