

A loving, devoted husband, respected businessman, community leader and dear friend to everyone who knew him, Jeff passed away September 19, 2014 at age 55. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Lauren Delaroderie Wright, along with their cherished Australian Shepherds, Jake and Adelaide. Jeff is also survived by cousins Steven Howard and John Howard, both of Houston, Texas; Phil Hawkins of Elm Grove, Wisconsin; John Hawkins of Valrico, Florida and their wives and children, including Katie Howard Williamson, and Uncle Carter Howard of Houston, Texas, Stoehr family cousins and many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Buell and Susan Stoehr Wright, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Wayne O. Stoehr and Mr. and Mrs. Norris B. Wright; cherished aunts Barbara Wright Howard, and Lorraine Wright Hawkins and her husband Harold; uncle Taylor Stoehr and cousin Susan Howard Shows. A long-time resident of Baton Rouge, Jeff was born on August 30, 1959 in Tyler, Texas and spent his early years in Houston before moving to New Orleans where he graduated from O. Perry Walker High School. He attended Louisiana State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 1983. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) fraternity, where he established lifelong friendships with his fraternity brothers. Jeff held positions at Louisiana Life magazine, The Image Group and Keith&Associates Advertising before joining The Graham Group in 1989 where he worked for 18 years and became partner. In 2006, he founded Wright Feigley Communications with Stuart Feigley and together they built a successful business. Jeff enjoyed time with Lauren, Jake and Adelaide, their cat and ducks. His other interests included golf, watching baseball games and attending LSU football games with Lauren, reading and duck hunting. He was a member of Grand Canard (Lacassine, Louisiana) and Duck Heaven (Stuttgart, Arkansas) Hunting Clubs. He was an active member of the Baton Rouge civic community, serving on numerous boards and committees, including Baton Rouge Rotary, The United Way, Academic Distinction Fund and was a graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber Leadership class. He was also a member of Baton Rouge Country Club. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tuesday, September 23 from 5-7 p.m. Services will held on Wednesday, September 24 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation beginning at noon. He will be laid to rest next to his father-in-law, Laurence A. Delaroderie, at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Bankston, Mark Bonner, Robert Levy, Kevin Couhig, Stuart Feigley, Chuck Moody, Doug Wilkinson, Steve Howard, John Howard and John Hawkins.
