

"Jeremy William Lindig, 31 and a resident of Port Allen, Louisiana, is loved and will be missed by many. Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors, and some of his favorite pastimes were hiking, wake boarding and snowboarding. He enjoyed writing and singing music with his friends. He loved playing his guitar and he was very creative in making videos and producing original music. Jeremy also enjoyed traveling, including several mission trips to Mexico, China, and the Amazon rain forest in Brazil. Jeremy received an Associate degree from Baton Rouge Community College. He attended Louisiana State University and was studying for a degree in drafting at BRCC while working part time at Domino's Pizza in Port Allen. He always enjoyed attending family get-togethers both large and small and rarely missed an opportunity to interact with his family. Jeremy is survived by his father Jerry William Lindig of Baton Rouge, LA.; his mother Rebekah (Beky) Ann Esneault of Port Allen, LA.; his maternal grandmother Mary Ann Kroeker of Franklin, TN; two sisters: Kathryn (Katy) Rebekah Sisson and her husband Tommy Sisson of McKinney, TX; and Emily Ann Lindig, Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by a niece and two nephews: Jubilee, Hudson, and Everett Sisson of McKinney, TX plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by a brother John Randall (Randy) Lindig, paternal grandparents Lawrence W. Lindig, Carmen Elizabeth Lindig and Oliver Lindig, maternal grandfather Eugene Kroeker. Pall bearers will be cousins and friends. Visitation is at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 12 noon until 2 pm with service beginning at 2pm, with Rev. Don Williams conducting the service. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
