Jerry P Wells, 70, born October 24, 1942 a resident of Baton Rouge and a Native of Bogalusa, LA passed away on February 2, 2013 at his residence. He was a retired employee of the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino after 14 years of service and although he worked many jobs, his favorite was his offshore duties as a young man. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Peggy Noland Wells; daughter Leisha Wells, son “Jay” Wells and wife Michelle; 3 stepsons: Darcey Noland, Darryl Noland and Damon Noland; two brothers Rodney Wells, and Milton Wells and wife Teresa; grandchildren: Nicole and Brittany Wells, Derrrick “Anthony”, Marc, and Britney Noland, Angel Moreau, Dana Harris, and Crystal and Bridget Noland; and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Marcus A. and Lois O. Wells. A memorial visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 9am until service time at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry’s honor to the Cancer Services of Baton Rouge.
