Jimmy V. Dorsey, a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA, passed away December 1, 2012. He was 68 years old. Jimmy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a retired electrical designer and electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 995. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Dorsey; children: Christopher Scott Dorsey and wife, Florence, of Round Rock, TX; Jennifer Lee Jeansonne and husband, Troy, of Fulshear, TX and Michael Neal Dorsey and wife, April, of Denham Springs, LA; grandchildren: Alexander and Catherine Dorsey; Hayley and Hannah Jeansonne and Zachary Dorsey and sister, Jan Dorsey Graham. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Jo Dorsey. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, Monday, December 3, 2012 from 5pm until 8pm and will resume Tuesday, December 4, 2012, from 1 pm until religious service at 2pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
