

Jimmy V. Grantham, resident of Baton Rouge and consultant for F.L. Smith/Phillips Kiln Services passed away on May 26, 2013. He was born July 3, 1937 in Sunflower County, Mississippi to the late Earl and Annie Grantham. Jimmy was retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 20 years of employment, and a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lee Grantham and sister, Maddie Sue Grantham. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ina Grantham; daughter-in-law, Michelle Grantham-Caston; grandsons, Hunter and Cole Grantham; brother, Earl Grantham Jr.; brother-in-law, Marvin Earl Corley; and numerous friends. Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, and will continue at 9am, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 until the Funeral Service at 10 am at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Mike Caston, Hunter Grantham, Sonny Brogan, Michael Pennington, Ricky Ingram and Dewayne Nobles.
