Dr. Joel David Nasca was born Oct. 12, 1947, and died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, best friend and caregiver, Mary "Janey" Breaux Nasca; two daughters, Nikole and Jobe Nasca; three grandchildren, Storm Nasca, Joseph Guidry and Sadie Harold; father, Dr. Joseph Nasca; sister and brother-in-law, Joni and Don Cunningham; and two stepchildren, Major Person and Bryson Person and his wife, Muriel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Vicaro. There will be a memorial service at a future date.
