
A resident of Baton Rouge, he was called by our Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2008. He was 77. In 1985, he retired from the Army with 34 years of service and from Kornmeyer's Furniture Co. in 1997 with 31 years of employment. John was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church for more than 50 years and a longtime member of St. Agnes Knights of Columbus. Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Carole Ann Drouin Dupuis; three sons and a daughter-in-law, John Nathan Dupuis, of Baton Rouge, U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Joseph M. Dupuis, of Yuma, Ariz., and Jerome M. and Courtney Dupuis, of Seymour, Ind.; daughter, Mary Ann LeSaichere, of Lacombe; two grandchildren, Matthew David and Trinity Dupuis, of Seymour; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Regis and Eileen and Nelson and Elaine; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Sterling Bordelon, Leona and Russell Marcotte and Nora Travis. Visiting at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 2, from 9 a.m. until recitation of the rosary at 10:15 a.m., led by the Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial at the church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with Monsignor Robert Berggeen, celebrant. Interment in Roselawn Cemetery.
