John “Jack” E. Flowers, Jr., aged 78, passed away at his home on July 27, 2025. He was a native of Boston, MA and was a resident of Denham Springs, LA. He loved hunting, fishing, and fixing things. If anyone needed something fixed, John could probably fix it. He was an HVAC mechanic for 58 years and owner of J.E. Flowers Jr. Service Co. He was also a member of the Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane Gaudin Flowers; brother, Bruce Flowers (Rhonda); sister-in-law, Margaret Caplinger; brother-in-law, Wayne Gaudin (Kathy); nephew, Joseph Austin Flowers (Kimberly); and nieces: Hannah Caplinger Evans (Jeff), Nicole Villemarette (Jason), and Jori Neese (James). He is preceded in death by his parents, John E. Flowers, Sr. and Beatrice Hayward Flowers. His family would like to express kind thanks to the staff and caregivers of Hospice of Baton Rouge, and to his niece, Hannah Caplinger Evans. As instructed by John, there will be no services.
