With unmatched musical talent and a warm smile, he always brightened a room when he walked in. You’ll live on in our thoughts forever, John John. 

John’s smile will be remembered. It’s the kind of smile that is inviting to strangers, comforts friends, and shares the warmth of his soul with loved ones. His capacity to touch all of us with his kind spirit is a gift that will remain forever.

It was a privilege knowing John from my teenage years until now. He never ceased to impress me with his talents that came so effortlessly to him. 
 So many years of deep conversations of figuring life out and how to progress as a person are memories I'll forever hold close. 
 This was a bigger loss than words can describe.  I love you John and I may see you up there one day 

I remember we used to use John to fetch things like glasses of sweet tea or popsicles. All because he was the youngest. I also remember the the first time he told all of us “get your own effin tea!” . I think from that day forward I always looked at John as an equal and not just a little brother.  I’ll miss seeing his face when I pop in from time to time. Fly High Brother!

I’ve had the blessing of having John in my life for 10 crazy wonderful years we had been through so much together he is and always will be my best friend he’s always been that light in a dark room. He found a way to touch the heart of every person he met and he loved everyone so much. He had a heart of gold he had a natural talent for music piano, bongos etc. I’ll never forget multiple weekends of him and Tyler,Tom and joesph with a guitar in hand or bongos. He lit up a room. He is the most intelligent well mannered gentleman, he was the best man I’ve ever met. I love him so much even though he is gone he will forever live on in my heart and memories. He was loved by so many and made an impact on everyone he met I’m grateful to have known him so well for so long he will forever be loved and missed

I think you are the one the gave me my ultimate nickname (& future ‘grandma’ name) Aunt Lulu!! My heart breaks knowing you aren’t here with us anymore, but I can rejoice in knowing I WILL see you again! Your shy,  infectious smile will never be forgotten.       I love you so much!!

John was the first person to introduce me to video games. I used to love going to Aunt Linda’s house because I remember John letting me play certain M-rated games because I was “mature for my age” as he would say. As a young child, I used to think that he played video games professionally because he was so much better than any of the friends close to my age (I’m 8 years younger than John). As I grew up, I remember catching up to him in some of the games we would play. I guess, maybe even unintentionally, that around this time he figured he’d find something new to impress me with. I remember playing Kingdom Hearts on the PlayStation 2 in his living room and, from another room, I could hear the exact same songs being played on the piano. I questioned John on how long he’d been practicing that particular song, and he said that it was the first time he’d ever heard it. I thought he had to be playing a trick on me, so I kept switching discs trying to find new intro songs of games to test him. Seemingly effortlessly, he’d play each and every song after simply listening to it. John was so incredibly talented, and I will forever be grateful to have gotten to look up to him as an older cousin for so many years. I know that now he’s in a place with much nicer pianos and gaming consoles than what we have on earth, and I like to think that he’s impressing angels with his talents instead of younger cousins right about now. I love and miss you, John.

So many fond memories from a time long ago.  John will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

John loved to give book suggestions to so many. One of his favorites when we were super close was "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman. If you are a reader (or even if you arent) give it a read for John. He was a part of my life in a very pivotal time. I'm very thankful I got to know him.

John will be missed and our thoughts go out to his family.  No matter the time between our visits, he was always the sweetest and he always had a smile on his face.
