A resident and native of Baton Rouge, John died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at his father's home. He was 24. John enjoyed sharing his love of music, art and culinary skills with his friends and family. John is survived by his parents, Wendy and Neil Spratt; sister, Kierstyn Spratt; father, John "Corky" Lucas Sr.; brother, Drew Lucas; sister, Leann Lucas; grandmothers, Barbara Causey and Barbara Lucas Mellen; grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Spratt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Buddy Causey and Jack Lucas; and uncle, Steve Lucas. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, April 5, starting at 4 p.m. with memorial service from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and visiting continuing until 8 p.m. Memorial service conducted by the Rev. Gerard Martin.
