Mr. John Michael Nevels of Denham Springs, La was born August 12th, 1955 in Baton Rouge, La and passed on November 10th, 2022 at the age of 67. He was a graduate of Central Private School and worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Livingston Parish. He spent his retirement loving and breeding German Shepherds. He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Marble and her husband Cody; step-son, Carey Carline; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Lillie, Cole, and Colt; sisters, Dr. Beth Calloway, Anna powers, and Teen Love White; brothers, Ivan "Deuce" Nevels, Eddie Love, and Ruben Love; and friend Michele lefeaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Sammye Nevels and John and Vivian Love. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Thursday, November 17th, 2022, at 11:00am to 12:00pm. Inurnment will be private. Celebration of life at Greenoaks to follow visitation from 12:00pm to 2:30pm.
