John Sidney White, Jr. died in the early morning on August 23rd, 2026 at the age of 96. He is survived by his son, John III (Allison) and daughter, Mignonne (Bart); grandchildren Dylan (Erin), Grace, and Elise; great-granddaughter Olivia; and brother, George. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mignonne; son, Yancey; his parents, John S. Sr. and Edith; and siblings, Arabelle and Hampden. He greatly loved them all. His express wish was not to list his occupation, memberships, activities, etc., feeling that his family, friends, and acquaintances know something about him; others would not be interested. Visitation will be held from 9AM to 11AM on Saturday, September 5th followed by a memorial service at 11AM at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
