Joseph Henry Champagne Sr.

Joseph Henry Champagne, Sr. a native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, the age of 95. He was a U.S Navy veteran who served in WWII. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Jean George Champagne & Dora Cecile Fabacher Champagne; siblings, George Champagne, Leo Champagne, Mercedes C. Gary & Marie C. Bienvenue and his son, Charles Mark Champagne. He is survived by his wife, Emily Phillips Champagne; two sons, Joseph and Matthew Champagne; and three grandchildren, Tobie Nicole, Finnegan Robert and Augustus Jude Champagne. Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial which will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park/Highland Memory Gardens located at 6325 Gulf Hwy. Lake Charles, Louisiana.
