A self-employed contractor for 60+ years, Joseph B. Daigle, 87, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his residence. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Rosa Jagneaux Daigle; children, John Daigle, James Daigle and wife, Rhonda, Randy Daigle and wife, Sandy, Phyllis Chambers and husband, Jesse; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Amanda Doucet, Merlin Leger, and Wilson Daigle. Preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Blanche Daigle; granddaughter, Dawn Chambers; siblings, Benton Daigle, Wilda Hebert, and Tilghman Daigle. Pallbearers will be John Daigle, James Daigle, Randy Daigle, Jeremy Daigle, Jay Daigle, Joel Daigle, and Matt Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be Blandyn LeBlanc and Lane Pourciau. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
