A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a resident of Walker, La, and a native of Independence, La. She passed away Monday December 9, 2013, at the Hospice of Baton Rouge ButterFly Wing. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Thursday December 12, 2013 from 5pm till 9pm. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Friday December 13, 2013 from 8am till service time at 10:30am conducted by Rev. Michael Moroney, entombment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Josephine is survived by her husband of 56 years John J. Nicosia Sr., son Michael L.
