Joyce E. Slusher, a native of Ashland KY and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 78. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Joyce is survived by her children, Randy Slusher and wife, Pam, and Howie Slusher; grandchildren, Sharon Slusher, Garrett Slusher, Lauren Slusher, Erin Slusher, Christina Foster and husband, Frank; great-grandchildren, Lane, Bryce, and Rayburn Foster, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Slusher, Sr., her parents, and siblings. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 12 p.m. until Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
