A retired labor market analyst for the Louisiana Department of Labor with 29 years of service, she died at her home in Baton Rouge at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. She was 81 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Feb. 12, was from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel on Friday, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by Brother Kiffin Luce. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband of 64 years, L.J. Bueche, of Baton Rouge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth L. and Bonnie Bueche, of Baton Rouge, and Curtis and Jane Bueche, of Prairieville; six grandchildren, Kenneth D. Bueche and Gayla D. Williams and Colby, Eric, Kurt and Casey Bueche; and three great-grandchildren, Darah Bueche and Mason and Parker Williams. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter H. and Blanche Thomas Roberts; a sister, Doris R. Middleton; and a brother, Walter H. Roberts Jr. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 40 years and was a member of LaBelleaire Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
