Judith Ann Davis, 75, a lifelong native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026. Judith was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid LSU baseball fan, she could always be found cheering on her beloved Tigers. She was also an avid reader and frequently visited the public library, where she enjoyed discovering new stories and getting lost in the pages of a good book. When she wasn't watching the game or reading, Judith loved spending time in her garden, tending to her plants with the same care and patience she showed to everyone around her. She possessed a vibrant, carefree spirit and was a massive fan of Jimmy Buffett—living her life with a bit of that island sunshine wherever she went. She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Richard Davis, and her parents, Roy Turner Sr. and Ruth Canty Turner. Judith’s legacy of love lives on through her family. She is survived by her three children, Janette Davis, Jordan Davis, and Eric Davis; her four cherished grandchildren, Shane, Porter, Copper, and Codah; and her siblings, Cindy Bourgeois and Roy Turner Jr. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 9AM until the Memorial Service time at 11AM. Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
