She was a homemaker, a native of Odessa, Texas, and a resident of Central. Judy died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 61. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Aug. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Monday, Aug. 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park at 2 p.m. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" E. Turner; daughter, Alicia Turner Schmidt; sisters, Charlene Johnson, Sue Boardman and Malinda Williams; brother, Randall "Randy" Williams; grandchildren, Maranda, Dalton and Cherie Schmidt and Theresa Wood; numerous nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her son, Richard Register-Turner; father, Leon E. Forsyth; mother, Esma Harrison Williams; and stepfather, Curley Williams.
