

A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Julius was a graduate of Dutchtown High School, spent time in the National Guard, and retired after many years as an operator at Ormet in Burnside. He enjoyed gardening, raising cattle, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Charlotte Rivault Landry; his sons, Brett Landry and David Landry; and numerous family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Landry and Claudia Broussard Landry. The family extends sincere gratitude to Audubon Hospice, especially Ingrid Sonya, Gail, and Dr. Richard Lieux for their compassionate care and support.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian of Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers honored to serve: James Kennison, Rick Banker, Brian Sholar, Ray Banker, Drew Sholar, and Ron Banker. Honorary pallbearer: Harold Braud.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
