June Isabel Duke Dodd a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday January 4, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 88. She was a retired secretary with the Geology Department at LSU and a member of the Desk & Derrick Club of Baton Rouge for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard C. Dodd, Sr.; parents Wylie F. Duke, Sr. and Mamie Hinson Duke.
She is survived by her son, Leonard C. Dodd, Jr and wife JoAnn.; daughters Erin Dodd Marino and Alyssa Dodd Comeaux and husband Jeff; sisters, Alice Pope, Margaret Farmer, Beverly Tucker and Judy Newby and husband Don; brothers Wylie F. Duke, Jr. and wife Audrey, Benjamin Duke and wife Diane, Jack Duke and Bobby Duke and wife Jackie; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday January 6, 2016 from 9AM-12PM. Funeral Services will be 12PM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge.
