June Rose Martin

June Rose Martin Rudd, 83, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016. She was past President of Louisiana League of Women Voters. Later in life she received her degree in History from the LSU Honors College. For 10 years, she was a fundraiser for Oregon State University. She was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church. June was an avid fisherman, artist, cook, musician, quilter, and animal lover.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Walter Rudd; three children and their spouses, Patricia Sue and Keith Bryan, Martin Edward and Janie Golden, and Walter Greyson Rudd, Jr. and his wife, Melanie Sharp; four grandchildren, Rodney Rooney, Jessica Golden-Cooper, Samia Rudd, and Piper Rudd; and one great grandchild, Keira Rose Rooney.

Preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Anna Rose Martin.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3552 Morning Glory Ave., Baton Rouge, La 70808, at 1:00 p.m.
