

"Karen Tisdale Bach, 52, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. She was a Baton Rouge native with a spicy personality that matched her love for Louisiana seafood. Karen graduated from Broadmoor High School, class of 1983. She then received a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising at Louisiana State University where she also completed graduate coursework toward an MBA. Her fiery spirit, grit and determination, and sincere love of people made her a successful medical sales professional and entrepreneur. Karen was also was incredibly creative; inheriting her mother's gift as a talented pianist. She enjoyed putting her own sparkly touch on personalized gifts, floral arrangements and DIY projects. Karen gave everything she could to help others, and was always armed with silly jokes to make those around her smile. She was witty, smart and beautiful - inside and out. May she rest with her mother and father in God's peace that surpasses all understanding, and may He hold her close. Karen is survived by her loving family "“ daughter, Ashley K. Tuminello, sisters Kathy L. Tisdale and Kristi B. Tisdale (Mike Gross). She is preceded in death by her father, L. Brooks Tisdale and mother Kay C. Tisdale. Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Broadmoor Methodist Church, 10230 Mollylea Dr., Baton Rouge, La., with memorial services immediately following. Interment will be held at Greenoaks Cemetery, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, La. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Karen's name to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge at CancerServices.org.
